Welcome to the month of August 2017, a month of harvest.  There is need for us to thank God for bringing us into the new month with His infinite mercy.

If we cast our thought back deeply we’ll see with our mind’s eyes that there are some people who we alighted the month of July together from the boat of life journey are no more in existence; some are in the hospital with legs hanging-up, breathing abnormally while doctors and nurses are running helter-skelter to save their lives. Some are in the mortuary, a lonesome place for the dead, but here we are, sound and healthy; not because we are more saintly than them who had ended their life’s journey, but by God’s supreme mercy over us. He said in Romans 9 verses 15 – 16: “For I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion. So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy” (KJV). I pray for you, you are the candidate for God’s mercy this month in Jesus Name.
The Bible says: “by His mercy we are not been consumed”. All we need to do is to draw more nigh (near) to God. That is the Bible injunction: “draw nigh to God and he will draw nigh to you” James 1 v 8. This is a simple rule that brings the Almighty God closer to you and if God be for you, who can be against you? According to the book of Romans 8 v 31; the answer is no body. I pray for you, no man or woman, born of a woman can be against you this month in Jesus Name.
“The eyes of the Lord are fixed on them that love him”. This implied that you will show more love for God this season by keeping to His words to fulfill them and to fulfill the royal law of loving your neighbour as yourself (Romans 13 v 8 – 10). You still need to lift up your eyes to the hill from where your help comes (Ps.121 v 1). The help of man is vain and temporal. I pray that our help will come from the Almighty God, the Creator of heaven and earth this month of August in Jesus name.
You will prosper this month because God takes pleasure in the prosperity of His servant (Ps. 35 v 27). It is a pity some people, even believers are still nursing the wrong notion that Christianity is for the poor. That is ill-feeling and destiny destroyer unquenched to your life. You should grow-up from breast milk feeding Christian. In verses twenty-seven it says: “let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous ceause: yea, let them say continually, let the Lord be magnified, which hath Pleasure in the prosperity of His servant” (KJV). I pray for you and myself, prosperity is our portion this month in Jesus name.
Your prosperity is not limited to material things only but you are assured of the prosperity of your soul and a divine good health from the Lord. Third John verses 2 says: “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in hearth, even as thy soul prospereth” (KJV). Dear brethren, it is the spiritual prosperity of your soul and good hearth that brings about the all-round prosperity. I pray for you and myself, good health and prosperity of our soul is our portion this month in Jesus’ Name.
I hoped to see you at the 65th Annual convention of The Redeemed Christian Church of God in the Redemption camp so that we can shout HALLELUJAH to our freedom. God bless.
