The word of God in I
Timothy 1: 18 – 20 says: “His charge I commit to you, son Timothy, according to
the prophecies previously made concerning you that by them you may wage the
good warfare. Having faith, and a good conscience; which some having rejected
concerning the faith have suffered shipwreck, of whom are Hymeneals and
Alexander whom I delivered to Satan that they may learn not to blaspheme”.
The above
scripture highlights the need for you as a believer to wage a good warfare with
a good conscience and faith in the Word of God you hear. Ensures that the word of God you hear is not
diverted by the devil. You need to wage a good warfare to protect the word of
God concerning you.
You must bear in
mind that for as long as the enemy reigns in any area of your life, you cannot
reign in that area of life because there is only one throne, the one seated on
the throne of any point in times is the
one reigning. It is the will of God that you wage a good warfare so that God’s
word concerning you can be fulfilled.
Satan is in the
business of wanting to conquer and reign where sleeping and slumbering
Christians should have been reigning in their lives. Satan will no longer break
into your territory and reign as you hold more fervently onto the word of God
in Jesus’ Name.
One ex- agent of
darkness now a Christian - as the story was told - confessed how they used to
waylay and intercept people’s destiny on their way here on earth. There are
many believers today who are not reigning in one area or the other of their
lives just because there is a wicked force seated on their throne. God with His
infinite mercy will wipe out every satanic agent parading on the throne of your
life in Jesus’ Name.
Today, there is a broad
variety of electronic gadgets which can keep people busy for twelve or more
hours a day. Some of these are been pornographic and other filthy programmers,
which begin to reign in the lives of the youths. As long as pornography is on
that throne of life and family as a child of God, you cannot reign in your
Christian walk.
We must walk in
the spirit and on the throne of our lives and destinies this Ember
months of the year. We are the apples God’s eyes, you know and we are more than
conquerors for a battle we have not fought (Rom. 8v37 KJV). The devil can no longer
penetrate into our lives in Jesus’ Name.
